Because he was an independent thinker who would not conform to the US governments idea of what was right. People are afraid of what they don't understand, or believe in. Therefore, the only way for them to deal with what they consider to be a problem, is to exterminate it.

This is directed at those who say that Che is nothing but a murderer. The American government knew of his activities long before the CIA killed him, why was nothing done in the beginning? Che was murdered because he outlasted his usefulness to the US government.

To Che'....Che fought US interest in Africa and South America. Back in the day the Big two were at a cold war, and we can look back and say if Che' was left to his own devises he would of rotted on the vine. Back then he was in direct opposition to our vision. Che' and group where in the wrong place at the wrong time ( that phrase is so over used ) but here it fits. The CIA did not pull the trigger but sent the drunk Sgt. in to do the dirt work. He is one of the few revolutionaries I admire.

Didn't that have something to do with Theodore Roosevelt's grandson Kermit?
No wait a minute, it was John Foster Dulles, secretary of state, his brother Allen Dulles, CIA chief, their interests in the United Fruit Company and the threat of communism.
Yeah, thats right, the threat of communism.

Yeah, well good old Fidel was more than happy to see this guy led off to slaughter. Fidel couldn't stand the fact that Che was more popular than him.

True, the US has been and continues to be guilty of propping up right-wing dictators, but Che is not the saintly hero he is made out to be.

Che was a cowardly murderer, good riddance. He used to order the mouths of victims taped shut so he wouldn't have to listen to their screams and begging for mercy while they were executed. There is nothing heroic or honorable about him.
