I am writing a five paragraph essay on 'love'. I am, I guess, at a loss for words and ideas. We can narrow down love in any way, preferably nothing above a pg rating, but yah. It is due Friday and after writing and rewriting a rough draft, I found out that it wasn't what I needed to write. It is a essay that is comparing love I guess, or giving strong ideas and different viewpoints on those ideas... Thanks for any help you cna give me....

My advice is to write a classification essay describing the type of love. Love has various meanings in different relationships. For instance, when people speak of love, there is nothing more passionate than a love shared by a couple. Furthermore, there is love for a person's children and other family members; love is shared in friendships; love is also the number one theme amongst church members. There is also a general form of love that a person may hold for the common good of others (i.e. Angelina Jolie expresses this through adoption of disadvantage kids in third world countries or Mother Theresa).

If that's not enough, you can also discuss how love is established and nurtured as a person's trust and security in another or others grows. You can provide examples of people who comes to mind. You can also discuss the consequences of the absence of love. How would the world be if it is void of love? Isn't love what help society to thrive?

Word of caution: do not use the word LOVE too much in your essay. Repetitive words in essays are always a NO NO.

Good luck!!

Maybe you could describe an actual individual who personifies love. What does that person do? How does that person treat others? What example is set by this person? How difficult is it for that person to maintain a loving attitude and character?

I can't think of any exact specific ideas for you (sorry) but you should make the moral / plot of it stereotyping. because i find that stereotypes has not alot to do with love but somthin to do with it .. mabey make it something like romeo and juliet? iuno.

maybe write about the different kinds of love.........a parents love for a child(child's love for parent), romantic love(husband and wife, gay couples), love for God, sibling love,

maybe get differing views on love? example...ask your grandparents what love means, your parents, older sister, younger brother, yourself, the priest/pastor/head of your church
