POISON PERIOD. They're PURE 80s man, PURE. Big hair, spandex and female attraction is what the 80s were all about. 80s wise, Poison r much better.
GNR r more 70s aerosmith style than eighties. But dont get me wrong, guns n roses still has AMAZING music and none but Bon Jovi or Def Leppard can beat them.

Don't know much about Poison so I pick:
Guns n Roses...why? Because my children listened to them all the time in the 80's.

I would have to say that Guns N Roses had more popular songs if i remember correctly but I like them both Poison had some good songs to. Neither one of them were my favorite. I would say they were equal in my judgment.
