I just got vista on my laptop and now when i plug my speakers or headphones into my laptop no sound comes. Any one know whats up or how i can fix it? ps. I checked the speakers and headphones, they both work fine with my ipod.

What are drivers? How do i install them?

I own a dell and i went to the drivers but i dont know what to download, how am i supposed to know?

You probably have drivers (they are what makes a piece of hardware like a sound card work) installed that will not work with Vista. You need Windows Vista drivers for your sound card. You can contact the laptop's manufacturer for the Vista drivers or visit their website to download them. I know that Dell's drivers are online.... yours should be too.

man i dont know what to say except that vista sux right now its not worth the money
