ed gein. true story, he was from a town called plainsfield i believe, in wisconsin. i'll look for a site. only two of the murders were actually proven to be him, but he wore the skin of many people--really gruesome stuff.

Texas chainsaw massacre was based on Ed Gein a very sick man ...i lived in TX for sometimes now ... are you talking about the name in movie.. if you are talking about the real TX chainsaw massacre .we can't say any thing about that...sorry

Not sure since the real murders were never solved. They occurred in Texarkana, Texas and were referred to Moonlight Murders.
