Concealed...with a permit.

Some states have a right to carry law. This allows you to carry a VISIBLE weapon at all times. You will be restricted as to where and when you can carry this weapon, read the laws of your state to be sure. Businesses can restrict entry as well.

Even with a concealed carry, laws vary from state to state as to your requirements should you be involved in a traffic stop...once again, read your states laws carefully.

It depends on where you live.

In two states - Vermont and Alaska, you do not need any permit to carry a firearm. In most others, you can get one, but need to ask for it to get it. In some, you cannot get said permit to carry a gun.

Once you have your permit to carry a gun, you may be lucky enough to live in a state that is granted reciprocity by other states. If that is the case, then not only can you carry a gun in your home state, but in others as well. For example, I can legally carry a gun in 28 different states.

If you live in an area that makes it hard to get a CCW (Carry Concealed Weapon) license, you may be able to get a license for another state that is respected by yours through reciprocity. A good example of this is Florida. So long as you meet some minimum requirements, Florida will grant you a non-resident CCW license that *MAY* be able to be used in your home state (it depends on what state you're in...Florida is also considered to be the gold standard of reciprocity - most states will allow a Florida license holder to carry a gun in their state).

Hope that helps!

If you're a cop on duty yes, except in England. If you live in certain states and have a permit yes. Or if you have a gun you can do whatever you want until you run into someone else that has a gun. He with the nickel plated makes the rules.

It all depends upon what state you live in. Each state has different laws regarding the carrying and use of guns.

Not in Canada - excepting a non-functional gun to an exhibition, antique, a law enforcement officer, military, etc. However, starting pistols using blanks are used at track/swim meets are OK.
