I know the best players in the league are primarily black but why dont teams go with more white or european players. They obviously shoot better and play better as a team and just play smarter. Just look at the olympics and world games how the us cant win the gold anymore because of good team basketball with good shooters. they just play zone while our "great athletes" throw up bricks.

themaninthehat thats kind of what i was talking about. the nba hypes over all the flash when they cant win in the olympics. teams just use a zone and our guys cant shoot a lick. except for the superstars kobe and tmac and some others most other black players are just great athletes.

Q thats the reason they flop because the players we have just arent as good as everyone thinks. If a team built a team mixed with a couple of good athletes and good shooters they would win an nba championship. Just look at the suns and mavs. There 2 best players are white and thats why they are winning.

basketballa thats my point. people put away that white guys cant play. if they had a different skin color it wouldnt matter. im just saying from experience that ive seen a lot of white guys who are better than blacks get cut or something because there white.

itwatkin. if you take an the 5 best black vs white players the black team would proboaly win but not by much.If the blacks play their style and the white play theirs it would be close. Basically a zone would beat the 5 best black players. The reason a lot of white kids are cut at young levels and dont get recruited highly is because they dont have all the flash bullcrap and play undercontrol.

Do you actually believe that white players either get cut from teams at a higher rate and get cut because they are white?
You mentioned the Olympics look at the original dream team. Mostly made of black players but it was the fact that they could play. As far as the new age Olympics most of the white/European/Caucasian players play for their own country nowadays.
I don't agree that the black players are hyped more than whites because if you can ball you can ball. But let's be real here you take the top 5 black players and top 5 white players and tell me what you think. don;t get me wrong I'm not a racist my any means nor do I down play the skills of white players but since you brought it up just look at the league. I can name some white players that ball but would I say that they are all better than blacks no. Nor would I say that they are all equal in skills.
But look who drafts these players white owners and GM's not blacks so who the question should be targeted to is them. I don't feel that everything that goes on is a race issue and I don't think that you were trying to make one out of it either but the question is a little race heavy. Just offering my point of view.

That starting five could give any team a run for it's money.

Somebody put up a list of an all-white NBA All Star team here a while back and it was comical how far below they were from a regular All-Star team in terms of talent. African-Americans are just far superior athletes and they can run faster and jump higher than white people and those things are important in basketball.

euros more than 3/4 the time dont pan out, they actually can not shoot, dirk is by far the best euro ever, and always will, but so many think they can play over here, and they can not becuase the game is to fast, plus, in the olympics, euros would go play for their country, not the US, and they are able to build their team around a star, here in the states, we have to many stars, and all of them want the stats, other countries want the medal...i cant stand it when a euro gets so much attention, becuase i kno, more than likely, there just gonna flop, cough-darko-cough

If he is a starter and/or performs over half-hour a sport, I'd consider you. second within the league in blocks in keeping with sport (in spite of gambling 20 min in keeping with sport). He's quite well - bigger than plenty of alternative facilities within the NBA BQ - Dirk Nowtizki and Steve Nash are the quality white gamers; David Lee born in USA

i'm not agreeing with your racial crap and garbage but yes players and coaches need to focus on the team play and chemistry as a group instead of just a bunch of freak atheletes thrown onto a team. Hiring Coach K for the olympics was a great start

one are you a racist and two why are you bringing black athletes down. some white players can do the thang, but some black players can do better. i don't go into this white black thing but whites and blacks are equals and there are some whites better than blacks. larry bird was a better shooter than michael jordan but did that make him a better player i don't think so. some peoples strengths are better than others black or white. if there was no color on this earth and we were just black and white then we would compare skills not colors.

Black people tend to be more athletic than white people. They don't say "white men can't jump" for nothing.
