According to a source close to the team, the Packers are very interested in CB Chris Houston of Arkansas. Houston's name has soared up the board recently because of his time in the 40 (4.3 secs.) even though he is an underclassman. His cover skills need to be refined but he is considered a very coachable prospect whose stock continues to go up.

It depends on what they do in free agency between now and the draft. Kevan Barlow is interested in the Packers and if he and Morency tag team the RB position then I don't think they'd take Marshawn Lynch.
There is a distinct possibility that they could trade up for Adrian Peterson as well if he falls into the late top 10 picks.
Green Bay also demonstrated last season a willingness to trade down and accumulate picks.
I don't see the Packers taking Ted Ginn or another WR because Driver and Jennings seem to have the job nailed down pretty well.

I think Lynch would be a good complement to Morency. I dont really know who else we'd take with the pick unless we went for Greg Olsen but he'll probably be off the board to Carolina by then. If we took a receiver I hope it's Dwayne Jarrett. However we should really pursue Moss rather than drafting a receiver.

It may be Lynch but the problem with him is apparently a back injury that was revealed from exams at the combine so he is slipping in the draft.
If it s a corner that they take Chris Houston and Darelle Revis should still be on the board. Houston helped shutdown Dwayne Jarrett this past season. Revis is bigger and can return punts too.
There will still be some pretty talented players avilable especially on defense. Jarvis Moss,Robert Meacham,Jamaal Anderson,Dwayne Bowe should all be there around the time the Packers Pick.

Adrian Peterson won't last that long and Marshawn Lynch will most likely go to the Bills. I seriously doubt they take Michael Bush cause he wouldn't fit it with the system. I think they'll take Tony Hunt out of Penn State. He's quick, runs with great power, can catch the ball. He's the most likely pick if Marshawn isn't available

I'm pretty confident that Buffalo is going to take Marshawn Lynch so unless Packers trade up they may take Greg Olsen or Robert Meachem.

Without trying to sound non-commital, obviously the Pack will take the best athlete on the board according to their war room when their pick comes.
If the teams ahead of them make wild trades and pick funny (or late, like the Vikings who should have missed their turn that year) then it will affect who is "supposed" to be on the board for Green Bay. Why speculate? Just hope they don't get the next Tony Mandarich.
