is the corner of 20th and mission street in San Francisco, considered a bad neighborhood??
i just want to know how safe it is to park my car there and if there are any decent parking garages there??

Yes, it can be kind of sketchy there, especially at night. One block away, on Valencia is whole different world. It's very nice, lots of shops and cafes and sometimes you can find a space there. There is a garage between 21st & 22nd on Bartlett, which is the alley between Mission & Valencia. In your question though, you mention Potrero, which is pretty far from Mission Street, like seven or eight blocks.

20th & mission itself is bad, but Portrero's blocks away and if you park on or around potrero you should be fine. I assume you mean during the day.....

Yes it's a bad location, park on Folsom.
