If they saw three lines or are positive then you are safe. They have never been wrong for me. I was told a girl three times and am having my third girl. I was told boy once and he is definitely a boy so shop away!!!

They are never 100% and honestly they shouldnt tell you they are 100% because my dr. said she was positive but she couldnt tell me 100% for sure because just incase she was wrong. But buy the clothes...you can always return them if she was wrong. Or like I did I was told I was having a girl when I went at 20 weeks for my first US then I waited until my 28th week US to start buying clothes. Make sure you get 2 answers that are the same. Good luck

They can never be "100% sure," but they were right with my first pregnancy (a baby girl). We also just had an ultrasound and we're having another baby girl. The ultrasound tech said there are 3 distinct white lines that show up on an ultrasound when it's a girl. We had those white lines with the first one and with our current one. So, I say go ahead...buy pink!

its most likely she was right. just buy the clothes and dont take the tags off so u can take them back just in case but i doubt u will have to take anything back, also the response about seeing what sex is more dominent in your babys fathres family is wrong too, my husbands dad has 5 kids four outa five are boys so everyone said i would have a boy but nope it came out a girl. shes 19 months now and im preg again.

Do it at least twice.
Not all ultrasounds are correct.
Dont start buying clothes until you've had your second appointment.
But you can buy clothes and if the doc is wrong, just return the clothes and get
your money back

no one can be 100% sure (so they say) but my ultrasound was right. I've had friends though that got the opposite. No matter what, always buy one or two opposite sex outfits just in case. Good Luck! :)

Well, she is professional so she is probably right. A good way to figure out if she is 100% right is, they say the man determines the sex of the baby, So see what sex is more dominant on the father's side of the family. Hope this helps!
