Just wondered if your going to be staying in the country for a number of months if it was possible

usually an apartment has a one-year lease--some landlords will rent for short-term but the price might be higher. also, most landlords require a credit check on tenants, and someone from another country wouldn't have any credit history in the US. But i guess this is not an insurmountable problem since people from all over the world come here to live.

Yes you can rent here. US citizenship is not a requirement for entering into a lease agreement in the US.
