Although humans are getting taller, it it due to better nutrition allowing us to achieve our full height potential, not that our height potential is actually increasing. Also, our brain size is limited by the human birth canal, which is small, due to our bipedality (walking on 2 legs), and so we cannot actually develop much larger brains, because those babies would die during birth (however, consider c-sections. I wonder if that will relieve that limitation? It's cool to think about).
It is impossible to predict how evolution will occur and where it will lead, because evolution does not have a goal in mind. It is just a process of species becoming better-adapted to the environment in which they live at that moment in time. In other words, the beneficial adaptation of this generation may be obsolete in future generations, due to different pressures from the environment.

All living things continue to evolve as long as changes occur in the environment. Some of our evolution may not be what we would choose, though. I always wonder if human eyesight is getting gradually worse since people with worse eyesight can wear glasses or have surgery and aren't as likely to suffer fatal consequences. That's just one aspect of human evolution I wonder about.

The people of the future will be descended from the people of today who have children. So -- who's having children?
Women with educations and careers have fewer children than those without.

The next stage of evolution for humanity would be for the women of the future to be less interested in having careers.
