This is a tough problem that I am currently on both sides of. A really good friend of mine wrote me a poem that said that he really likes me, and I'm afraid that I will lose him as a friend since I do not share these feelings. On the other hand, I really like one of my other friends, and it's the same situation as it is with you. We did the same stuff to each other. Imagine my suprise when he asked a different friend of mine to be his girlfriend. My answer is that no matter what you do, be careful. If it turns out that he doesn't like you, try not to cry in front of him, don't make it a big deal. He obviously cares about you, but he may not think of you in a romantic way. Before doing anything, talk to some of his friends, ask them (subtly) if he likes anyone, and if it is you. Good luck, and remember that with no action comes no results.

No. Don't tell him, if he doesn't know without being told neither of you are ready. Get out from under this one-one thing before you suffocate. Instead put your relationship into a context, invite him to join you and your friends in doing stuff as a group, any stuff, boring, daggy stuff will tell you more than glamorous fun stuff, but do it with others not just you two. See how he gets on with you and your friends, how he reacts to things you like, to things he doesn't like. If you like walking, get him on a walk; if he likes his baseball, go with him. Sooner or later you are both going to know a lot more about each other and you will both know what your relationship is about. Maybe it will call itself off, maybe you'll find a soul mate, but you will both know by doing not saying. 'Saying' is ABOUT your relationship, 'doing' IS your relationship.

Of course you should tell him. This was exactly like me and my crush. Kinda weird tho. We met in 1st, but never talked. MySpace'd 5 years later, not knowing who she was. In 6th we talked alot, just like how you described it. And then one day, i had a crush on her. I told her, and everything was fine. Just today we walked to McDonald's. :) So my answer is yes, but say it face to face, when you are ready.

its pretty obvious that he likes you, so just tell him it wont hurt. and you'll never know till you ask so i say go for it. whats the worst that could happen? im sure he likes you if he sits near you and you pass notes and have conversations.
good luck.

My opinion don't tell him, like I said before in a question guys like a challenge and make him want you more than you want him,get it?It seems like he likes you and if hes worth it he'll ask you.

I would just let things happen naturally. First of all how old are you? If you are still in highschool, or younger...I would let him make the move. Good LUCK!

Um. I guess you should just do it and get over it. If he doesn't really like you, it'll be awkward for awhile, but it'll pass. Besides, it seems like he really does like you. Good Luck!!!!
