My garage is baited also. I've left my car outside with no success. I've tried turpentine balls; Irish Spring soap; Bounce dryer pads. I put those sticky mouse pads on the floor of the car. I caught one, but there are more. I left lifesavers in the car, and they ate them.

I tried all the tips from the exterminator. This is so gross. I am afraid a mouse is going to run under my feet while I am driving.

This is the first winter that this has happened. I am allergic to cats so that won't work.

Please give me some sensible solutions.

Thanks

I am allergic to cats so the cat hair won't work. Moth balls are very strong and I would not want to breath in the fumes. Plus the interior is leather.

We tried the baited boxes tin the car to no avail. This must be a very smart mouse.

Does anyone have other suggestions?

The car's interior is cleaned well every week.

Try to see if you and the mice have any common interests.

Give your interior a good cleaning.. Clean out Everything you can.. Everything. Napkin boxes, papers etc. and wash the rugs and carpet. Mice droppings and scent attracts other mice so even if you found what they were after they will still come. Spray with a citrus smelling cleaner

i know it sound bad but they probably have a nest in your car and the only way to get rid or them is to take off the dash of they car. mice like the warmth from behind the dash. if there is a nest then they will do anything and go through anything to get to it, good luck

Set fire to the car?? Yikes! I think you might have to pull the dashboard out to find their nest. That's the only way to convince them to fine a new home. Maybe you could charge them rent? Good Luck!

Sprinkle common moth balls in your engine compartment in places where they won't jar loose. Drop some in your Garage also. It'll work. Good bye mice. Good Luck.

This may sound odd, but the best thing is to keep some cat hair in a paper bag under a seat. Replace it every now and then, it works ok.

If you know exactly where they are entering, buy some copper or stainless steel Chore Boy scrubbing pads and stuff them in loosely. Mice won't chew it, and air can still get through. Don't use regular steel wool as it both rusts and can burn.

Put a very hungry cat in your garage. ( Drastic times calls for drastic measures ) put baits in your car. or if cats bother you real bad you might try a couple of snakes. I hate snakes and cats, mice dont bother me. I dont like them but I will take them over the cats or snakes. You could trade cars and move.

sorry best I can do with this one....

if it dont help maybe you got a chuckle

I can solve your problem to a point. First you need to buy a cat and put it in your car once the cat gets rid of the mouse you'll have to buy a dog and put it in your car to get rid of the cat and once the dog gets rid of the cat you'll have to buy a mountain lion and put it in your car to get rid of the dog. Now once the mountain lion gets rid of the dog your on your own. I still can't get into my car after doing this, but hey I got rid of the mouse....
