Yeah, Vulcan is the god of volcanoes.
Hephaestus is in charge of volcanoes AND the forge and metalsmithing and stuff like that, but I think it's split in Roman deities among Vulcan and Mulciber.

the roman name is Vulcan, not volcan, I don't think there was a second one besides godsmith.
