Dumas is in Moore County in the Texas Panhandle, about 50 miles north of Amarillo and 400 miles northwest of Dallas.

Dumas is in the panhandle of Texas, north of Amarillo on US Hwy 287. I've driven through there many times going from my parents' house in Waco to my former home in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
