I would forgive them both and hate neither of them, however I would end the relationship. Just because you forgive, does not mean you forget. Infidelity is not something that you forgive and then continue to allow to occur which is what will happen if you allow the relationship to continue because by forgiving him AND letting him stay you reward him for his infidelity, if you end the relationship permanintly, you can find someone better, and he hopefully will learn from this and not cheat on the next one ( likely your friend )) I would also seriously consider getting rid of her too.

No, I have been cheated on before by just a boyfriend not even a spouse and its really hard to turn away from that. If things are that bad that the other person feels then need to go and be with another women then they obviously don't care enough about your relationship to try and work it out. If I did take them back I would always be looking over my shoulder waiting for him to do it again. It would break all the trust I had for that person.

Well for one thing she is not your best friend by any means...get rid of her no matter what you do with the spouse. As for forgiving him, you must search your heart about this. Prayer will help and seeking therapy for both of you if you wish to try to make your marriage work are also recommended.

This is hard to say what you would do unless you are in that situation. We can say we would do this but you never knows. But if my husband was to cheat on me with my best friend, I would be more hurt than if it was with a stranger. You would start thinking about times when they were alone in the kitchen or things like that and it will make you crazy. I can't say what I would do, I know I would be more hurt than anything and it would be hard to trust him after that.

The first time I would smack him across the face and give him a piece of my mind as well as an std test. The second time I would say: it's been real, it's been nice, but it hasn't been really nice and then I would walk out the door to come back no more.
Mr. M on "forgive."

Wow, thats a hard one. But, if (my) wife cheated. I would gert a divorce for sure. I be able to stop thinking that some other man had his stuff in her! yuk! and, of course i would be hurt. I would be able to forgive her in the future. But, just cuz I forgave her does not mean, I would have to go back with her!

Only once. I would bed him and prove to him that I am so a sex goddess and he doesn't even want to look at that other woman. If I couldn't, if it happened again, I'd so be outa there!
I know a woman who's been with her cheatin' husband for nearly forty years, they have nine kids, and he propositioned me, like half his age, tried to bribe me, but she's still with him. I would never let it go that far. She's ruining her family by staying.

I might forgive in time. But the marriage would definitely be over. I always say, let them have each other, they get what they deserve.

Unfortunately for him no I wouldn't forgive him. I have too much pride to let my husband sleep around with other woman and not do anything about it.

No. NO no no no. You don't cheat. If he wanted to cheat, he shouldn't have married me.
I don't care what excuses he has.
This isn't forgivable.
