i honsestly dont like the yankees at all..... so i have to go with red sox!
they are a likable team!

I think the Yankees are a little better then the Red Sox and the surprise Blue Jays. For the first time in a while, the Yankees have a good farm system waiting to fill holes and question marks (Pavano, Igawa etc.) with youngsters like Philip Hughes and Humberto Sanchez. The Yankees lineup is amazing once again. The Red Sox have some question marks at pitching, and I don't think they have too many minor league options except maybe Craig Hanson but he didn't look ready last year. They have a solid team but I don't think they match up to the Yankees. Yankees will take the East once more with a very tight race.

The Red Sox are a good team.But yet agian so are the Yankees and Blue Jays.I like the Red Sox better then the Yankees but I can't say they are better.Their pitching(yes pitching)has lots of question.Will Matsusaka transisiton well,will Schilling return to his old form or is he to old,will Beckett's and Wakefield ERA and home run % go down?Will Clement finally do any better(never the same since he got hit on the head)?And can Papelbon do well in the starting rotation.The hitting is very good with no problems at all,unless Manny becomes a distraction.Red Sox are a good team but not good enough for the Blue Jays and Yankees.

The Yankees have always been better than the redsox (the number of rings says it all) and they will continue to dominate the AL east. Oh yeah and they will win AL east this year AGAIN
