i cant get open my sisters microsoft compaq computer to change the video card because i have no idea what type of screwdriver im supposed to use? help the danzle in distress

i know that its a compaq xp home edition but the screw is kind of hollow like it doesnt need one but it does.

If you've never been inside a pc, I'd have a geek assisting the first time. There are a hundred things you can do to kill your pc.
That said, you probably need torx screwdriver tips, a set might cost you $5.
While you are inside, make sure:
The power cord is unplugged.
You stay in contact with the case at ALL TIMES to prevent static damage.
Install and clamp in the new video card (check the software directions to see if you install software before or after the hardware).
You're done.
