I won my Roto league last year. This year I decided to try my hand for the first time in a H2H league. More general points are welcome, but if you feel like making specific points on my roster, here it is:

12 team H2H, 5x5 cats.

Your team is pretty solid from top to bottom... the only thing i would have done differently is draft another closer...

The main difference between a H2H league and a Roto league is the fact that in a H2H league hitters are much more valuable than pitchers as a whole and closers are probably more valuable than starters... here's the reasoning - in a H2H league you need to win categories every week... in a given week your position players get about 5 games in while a pitcher may only get one start - that makes someone like Johan Santana seem pretty silly compared to Pujols... the same applies to closers - because the elite closers may get 2-3 saves a week with a 0 ERA and 0 WHIP and nice K's they can consistently help you each week while starting pitchers are up and down and depending on who they are pitching against you may want to bench them...
