that I read on a website that Jews are considered white. But then I have had some family that has lived in Europe and they said that Europeans are not considered to be white and do not like be called whites because they are Europeans.

Jews or Hebrews, are not Europeans (white that is). We must not forget that they started their journey for the promised land with Abraham from a city called Ur in Mesopotamia (today's Iraq). The Jews are people of the Middle East. The white Jews that you encounter today, are Jews that fled to Europe and intermarried with Europeans.

It isn't a race, to be a Jew, or Jewish, is to belong to the Jewish religion. They are of different races. Sammy Davis Jr. was Jewish and he was a black American. It is as stupid as saying all Christians are white and all mulims are arabic.
The more accurate question would be questioning if a Hebrew is white, or caucasian. They are a Semetic race.

Generally speaking yes, however Jews represent many ethnic groups. For example, several years ago, the Israeli Military airlifted several hundred black Ethiopian Jews to Israel from Ethiopia. They were considered to be one of the lost tribes of Israel.

I dont think they are white. The are more closer to Arab, then white. And, there are soo many different kind of Jews. Some are from Israel, some are from Poland, and Spain. But, they all originated from Israel. So, I just claissify them as Middle Eastern eventhough a lot of Arabs will get mad at that.
