so in humans when a male gets horny their penis gets hard. does this happen to animals such as dogs?? i know they have a penis and so does it stick out?? and wat about cats. their penis isnt exaclty like a humans or dogs. theirs is more round how do they get erections? and how do they put it into females??? im sorry but im curious??

Well, I tell you what I know lol...
The size of the genitalia (testicles and penis) in the male of any species has been scientifically researched as being in direct relation to the female's promiscuity.
That is because of competition, male sperm, in addition to fertilizing the female's egg, also acts as a shield towards other male sperm, thus reducing the next male's chances at fertilization somewhat, and (now it gets good), the more promiscuous the females, the larger the males genitals.
Cats are not promiscuous at all, one encounter is all most need, as soon as conception happens the female is instantly out of heat and thus there exists little to no competition beyond conception.
Dogs on the other hand, a female can be impregnated by more than one male, and continues her cycle until the cycle runs its course, thus necessitating larger genitals on the part of the males, if perhaps for another reason being that more frequent copulation occurs.
Meanwhile, testicles produce sperm around the clock, and the level of sperm in a male somewhat affects their arousal, thus it stands to reason the more promiscuous species may feel aroused at more frequent intervals.
However, the simple presence of a penis, such as may be the case with a dog could be just as accidental, it also happens to be a part of the cleansing routine a dog must go through.

During an erection, the bulbourethral gland on a dog's penis swells pushing the os (bone inside penis) penis out of the shaft.

it's a little differant in dogs they have a pink nub that actually comes out of the skin of their penises. and then it goes back inside the skin when they are done. don't know about cats though sorry

male cats also have a little pink nub that comes out, just like in male dogs.
