To tell you the truth, I find the match disturbing and nauseating. Not because I think one is better looking than the other, but because I see John Mayer as a man of depth and substance. I'm sure Jessica Simpson is a lovely girl, but she's not the brightest. I imagine they have music in common, but I just cant see the Pop Princess and the Blues Brother as a lasting match.
Yes, I am a Mayer fan and I'll say it loud and proud. Who cares what he looks like? The man's music speaks to my heart.
And for the record, Jessica Simpson IS the stereotype of a dumb blonde. Brittney Spears is simply a lunatic and in desperate need of a little TLC.

Judging people on thier looks is extremely shallow, though I agree John is not much to look at when compared to Nick. Truth is we don't really know these people and maybe they (John and Jessica) have alot in common and enjoy each other's company.

I don't know about the pairing, but John Mayer has come across as a little bit of a snob. He flaunted his Japanese skills to Ryan Seacrest, and also he has openly dismissed his "Daughters" single as fluff that he didn't want released as a single, which I'm sure is not what people who like the song want to hear.
