anyone know about haunted, creepy, abandoned houses etc?

there used to be this house near here with pentagrams drawn on the floor, was derelict, we just used it to go smoke in but i heard later there was some satanic cult using it for their rituals etc.

not neccasarily a house, could be a park, green area, pier or anything i suppose

i'm just asking for your stories about creepy places you know of

In Estes Park Colorado in The Stanley hotel it is widely known to have hauntings within the third story of the building. Known for its debut shoot in a scene of Stanley Kubricks interpertation of Steven King's Novel "The Shining" many by-goers through the hotel who have stayed have heard children laughing and making noises late at the night, many will call the concierge desk only to find that there is no one booked in the upper levels and security patrols each of the three floors each night.

There was a haunted house a quarter mile from my dad's that the local "cult" drew what they thought were pentagrams on the floors and walls. They were actually Stars of David in circles. lol. The house was eventually burnt down because it was so run-down and wasn't safe anymore. The spirit that was in there still is on the property though. I didn't think it was all that creepy though, I got used to the sounds of the place, and never worried about being hurt. I still have pictures of the inside of the house, but no spirits showed up in them. maybe because it was broad daylight? lol.

yes,i happen to live in what used to be a mortuary.it was built in 1846.many deaths here. of cause we found out 2yrs after buying our home. several strange things were going on,and we just couldn't figure what was happening. a historian finally told us,we had several 'mediums' come in,everything was confirmed,right down to the previous owner. we have 17 'children' in our downstairs 'baby' room. it viewed young children and teenagers some years back. now the pentagrams, that i too know of well. there are different types,if you have a two pointed (like horns) pointed up,that's the 'bad' one. the other pentagram is symbolic of the elements,like air,earth,fire,and water. that is the good one. only good rituals are usually used for the 'star'. i hope this helps. most 'ghosts' are harmless. most 'hauntings' are residual.which means,it's like a tape recorder,playing over and over again. it's not an intelligent haunting. good luck to you.

Theres a place in Taplow, Slough Its a old hospital where people from the war went, u get a fine if ur caught in there but me n my friends always went in there it was soo creepy in there at night really long corridors and even a church bit inside plus they had this building which was used for swimming or something...we called it the dripping room coz all u could hear was this loud dripping noise n it echoed everywhere and one night we all sat in this part close all the doors and sat in in th dark in silence..i was sat right by the door with my friend john ...and this is no joke there was no wind at all the doors litterally flew open like someone pushed them with force!! i screamed my **** off!! But coz i was with mostly guys they were all hyped up and wouldn't leave after that i was shittin it! We left that bit and went into the church bit , it was freeezing!!( this was in the summer) and u could see ur breath it was that cold in there it was really freaky!! i got really freaked out so i walked off with 3 of the guys into the corridors we had one flash light we started walking and the guy with the flash light goes what the **** is that light up ahead!? we all looked and it was hard to make out but u could see this fuzzy light floating slowy side to side...we all run out of that place screaming lol thing is i would love to go there again i haven't been in 2 years

Any place where an act of evil or bad karma was performed will carry those spirits or hold on to that negative vibe until it is cleansed of all the bad energy. For instance, prayer...when we pray for someone in a good way, it sends good energy from your being to that person you are praying towards. In the same sense, when someone prays ugly, it summons bad things to the place. It can be any place where bad people, energy or occurances took place. For instance, if someone does a lot of drugs or beats their wife or any other number of things in a certain home, in Native American way, we will cleanse this place with smoke and prayer and ask the bad spirits to clear out. Yes I have had a lot of experience with these types of places, when a place is tainted, you can just feel it. It feels ugly and uncomfortable. Especially apartment complexes, because their is such a high turnover of residents with all kinds of skeletons in their closets.

Yes there is a disused asylum in Wooton Road Gloucestershire. I lived in the nursing quarters attached to it and had to get the hell out. It was the spookiest place on earth. Me and a few friends went over there one day and they still had the paddded cells and wooden name plaques were scattered all over the place. I didn't actually witness anything but it scared the hell out of me. Apparently there have been many sightings. My address was asylum lane!!

A girl i used to know who lived around the corner from me, lived in a ver haunted house. As soon as you got to her front door you got an eerie feeling. I remember going in once and we were all in the living room and all the pots and plates fell off th drainer, that is when she told us horrible things that happened in the huse. She told me that one night her and her boyfriend were in bed with all lights off in the house doors shut and alarm on when the door of her bedroom started shaking and the handle turning when her boyfriend got up to see what it was he couldn't get the door open so he opened the window and shuted over to his mum who lived across the road who came running into the house with her spare key followed shortly by the police only to discover that there was no sighn of a break in and that the bedroom door was badly damaged through someone trying to get it. She later discovered that a prostitute was held hostage in the bedroom and was later killed on the stairs. Everyone who has lived in the house has not lasted longer than 2 years and then moved out. Also everyone who has lived there has had something bad happen to them. A little boy set himself on fire with matched on the 'Stairs' and only a few months back the girl im talking about had to move out as she was brutally attacked and raped on the stairs. Now if that is not a haunted house, then i don't know what is!!!!! Im really scared now to go to sleep. I shouldn't of answered this question. Thanks!!!!!

either way - it messed up big time !!

i saw a ghost in my house, only saw it once though - a floating mist above my tv at like 3am during my period in which i slept in the living room..

there used to be a house like the one you described in your question, except its like a good 200 metres away..everytone thought it was haunted so a group of like 20 teenagers went in at once and trashed it..it was long abandoned.. i stayed far away and wached..

Yeah, I lived near a house that was almost torn down by a hurricane, it was very torn apart and scary.
