In an English book - maybe giving credit to the wrong author - in a science book, giving the wrong formula for a chemistry project. Pax - C

1) its hard to say what an egregious error would like like, because English has it's exceptions (P.S. there are some egregious errors in the previous sentence!).
2) The Pauli exclusion principle states that it is impossible to know both the velocity and the position of a particle at the same time (it's actually the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle).

This is an error that is against all conventional teachings ( not a typo for example)
Here are 2 examples:
In the sentence, "She ate the red apple.", red is a noun.
It has long been known that the sun revolves around the earth every 24 hours.
