My mom and dad always did. Now I have a kid of my own... and I bout died when those words came out of my mouth one day.

Yes, my dad. I hate it, too!
He also said, "Rise and shine! If you can't shine, rise anyway!" while ripping open my curtains. I really hated that! LOL! :)
