If you're looking into the high end watches, the most recognizeable one is Rolex (though watch collectors may poo-poo it a bit). Others to consider are Patek (generally considered "the best" out there), Audemar, Lange & Sohne, Chronoswiss, Vacheron, and Roger Dubuis.

who the hell wears watches anymore? dont you have a cell phone? if you dont, get a nice cell phone. people will care more about a nice phone than a watch plus it has the time on it. unless your 60 something. then go with the watch.
