Normal is just a setting on a dryer, but being too much a rebel or too anti-establishment can create problems for you. Certain dress codes are necessary in a work place as are certain so called "normal" behaviors when dealing with the public. You can be your own individual on your own time, but you will probably have to conform to some standards in order to be successful. A career in the arts might be an exception and of course, if you are independently wealthy, you may be able to write your own rules. Some of them are for own protection and aren't that hard to follow.

What form of normality are you speaking of? If you are a man of 5'10 to 6'00 you are normal in some parts of the world and abnormally tall in others.
Unless you try REAL hard you will be normal in some categories and abnormal in others.
