Not yet, unfortunately, but my boyfriend is from The Bahamas (Nassau) and he says it's paradise over there... if you have plenty of money!
The Dominican Republic doesn't appeal at all I'm afraid; I have heard some horrible & nasty things about that particular Caribbean Island, I'm sorry to say.
Why do you ask?
Are you a Travel Agent or something?
You seem to be some sort of spokeswoman for that place, considering your avatar & everything...

I've been to Trinidad, Guyana, Barbados and DR. I have family members all over the West Indies. I usually go there over summer vacation. But I haven't been out of the States in 4 years. I miss the Caribbean breeze.

Haven't been to the Dominican Republic but I have been to half of Hispaniola, lol, just been to Haiti

I've been to Grand Bahama, but it looks just the same as where I live ( Florida) I would love to see the REAL tropics though. Can I stay with you?

just back from the bahamas ( sweet ) though, never been to dr, yet. been to the mayan riviera 10 times (beautiful ) maybe next year.
