The only way that I can get the program to say what I type is to type it in the greeting box and then go to edit speech and start speaking. Am I doing something wrong, or is it just a bad program. Please help me. Thanks!

Hi chaines123,

Voiceover is found inside your Mac's System Preferences, if you have Mac OS 10.4 Tiger. Under the System heading, you click on the Universal Access icon. Inside Universal Access you click inside the On button in the VoiceOver section. Now, everything you point your mouse at, your Mac's built-in voice will tell you what it says, including menus, icons, text, everything. It's a great feature if you need it, but it gets kind of tiring if you don't need it. Best of luck to you.
