Please help me figure this out. My light bulb is 20Watt. I use the light bulb for 10 hours. Con Edison charges $0.13 per KWHR (kilowatt per hour). how much is the bill?

20 watts for ten hours is 200whrs or .2kwh

so .2 x .13 is .026 or about three cents

or three cents per day etc.

about .90 cents in a month

but then the surcharges and fees would make the bill about 57 dollars go figure lol

KWHR stands for kilowatt-hours, not per hour.

Burning your .02kW bulb for 50 hours consumes
.02 kW*50 hrs = 1 kWhrs and costs $.13.
Burning it for 1 hour costs $.13/50.
Burning it for 10 hours costs $.13/5.
