Because they are full off sugar which give you a quick energy burst then you drop. Leaving you wanting more. Full of fast carbohydrates. You are better off eating slow releasing carbs which make you feel fuller for longer.

Because the food does not have much nutritional value!! When our body is signally that it is hungry it is not only calling for energy but it is also calling for nutrients, and because McD's lacks many nutrients we are left unfulfilled!!
Another reason is because believe it not, McD's food contain a lot of sugar. Sugar raises our blood-sugar levels very quickly - its a quick source of energy. However this then means that our blood-sugar levels drop quickly too resulting - once again - in hunger!!

Most of the food at Mcdonald's, is either just sugar, fat, or starch. Those things will only fill you up for a second. It's better to eat wheat buns or wheat bread, instead of white buns like at Mcdonalds, because it's all basically white flower and water. You also have to be careful with wheat bread, because sometimes they just color it brown, and sprinkle on a pinch of wheat flower, and call it whole grain.

Lack of true nutritional value, or content. Fills your stomach, but not your body's nutritional needs!
