I am nice and respectful to everyone at my school. Why are people mean to me when I don't do anything to them?

they are insecure with themselves and have flaws themselves,... so to make them feel powerful or like they have a hand over you, they try to turn things that are perfectly fine (i.e. you in this case) into something problematic. Their being mean to you... they now think that you now have this additional problem of "a person being mean to you". Don't mind them. You are doing the right thing... being nice and respectful to everyone. When they least expect it, things will catch up with them, but don't you worry about it. It's THEIR problem... not yours.

OMG! I know same with me! I hate it I am like nice I stick up for people but what do they do to me they ruin my day by saying something against me. I hate people like that. I just wanna...Ugh! I don't know cause the world is so cold. Sorry I am not mad at you but mad at people that are like that. You know they aren't getting anywhere in life. your are problaby gonna meet em 25 years from now and they are gonna be poor and work as a custodian or a cafateria lady with big hips (no offense). But you are gonna be like ha ha ha! You are gonna be BETTER than them! And so am I! lol! ⥠I hope I made you feel better it made me feel better by thinking bout the future and where their gonna be. â¥

they are either jelous, prejectin gon you, or just assholes...just ignore them...highschool sucked because people were so mean and those "mean" people were the most "popular" once you get out of high school those people become NOTHING its the nice people that become something in this world..NICE guys always finish last..just ignore them..and thanx for being nice..we need more people like you in this world

what i notice is that people that pick on you have miserable lives and need to take it out on someone they are jealous of -usually because they have something they don't like good grades,popular anything can make someone jealous even if u do not think so-my best advice let it roll of your shhoulders there will always be mean people around you and you just have to know that they lead a unhappy life

They prey on people that did nothing so that they can let all their real frustrations on life out on them. Unfortunately that is how life is. Don't mind them... Ignoring them is the best way.
Oh and because it's a freebie to them. They know you won't fight back, so they can do whatever the heck they want. Hang out with your friends, do stuff that are positive. Either show them that you have a real life, or ignore them.
