you should start with the body of your paper first, then write your intro, then the conclusion. i am in the process of writing a research paper right now as well, only mine is 12pages, it really helps. minimally, your intro should introduce the topic, state the main points of the body and include your thesis, then the body goes into detail with the main points you stated in your intro. So go thru your body and pull out your main points, then write your intro.

ok wat my teacher told me is that u should pull out details from the middle and start with them. put remember to use them in the middle also.
