ok I would love to be a screenplay writer someday, and i have finally started writing my first film...so here it is, tell me if you would pay to see it...AND BE HONEST!!
So the story takes place in chicago, year: 1978. Theres a 16 year old boy named Jack and he lives and breathes acting. It is his biggest dream to become an actor, well hios father is a taxi cab driver, and wants his son to follow in his footsteps, he is really poor, and his mom left his father when he was 4 years old, he had a brother who served in the vietnam war, but was killed in battle. well anyway, his father strongly disagrees with his son wanting to become an actor and is not supportive at all, well jack has had enough so he runs away and jumps on a box train to L.A. he goes from studio to studio trying to find a minor part in a film, well he gets one but he is later shot in a store, his spirit dosent go to hell or heaven so he possesses his favorite actor and lives out his dream through his body, but he gets

stuck in the actors body, the only person who can see him is a studio janitor named mr tunnel and if i had more characters to work with i could explain this alot more thouroughly, but in the end he dies and goes to heaven. so tell me just from what you have heard would you come see it? PLEASE DONT STEAL IDEAL!!!

couldnt give you the name of the movie but cris rock was in one version of this story. i think the original concept is ripped from a movie back in the 80s called heaven can wait with warren beatty. nothing is ever really original these days, but if you believe in it. i say, go for it man! the beginning reminds me of a bronx tale for some reason. another thing nobody wants to follow his dads footsteps when his fathers a cabbie. the beginning has little to do with the concept, just fluff.so dont really dwell on it.work more on the actual adventure jack goes through. hope i make sense.

hmm..i think the plot needs more work coz its not clear wether the story is about his dream of becoming an actor or is the story centered on his reincarnation..i was kinda confused if it has religious or philosophy as the main theme..i suggest try to make an outline of the movie, sort of like doing an outline when your doing a movie review or book report then expound without going out of the plot, the part about his brother being in vietnam war and him being reincarnated later going to heaven makes the ending of the movie soppy and the flow of the story is not smooth..

well the whole possesing thing and being seen by one random person is not very original. there's a movie right now, The Invisible, that's all about that. and if his dad is so poor he should run away FOR his dad, to want to give him a better life once he gets rich from acting. and in the beginning, you have no idea that it ends up being a fantasy or whatever it is in the end.

It sounds good to me ~~~ Just remember rule number one ~~~ write what you know about. Also: no fear in the writer, no fear in the reader (or watcher). No tears in the writer, no tears in the watcher.
Also: is Jack realistic ~~~ does he wrap his arms around every single life experience he comes across plus learn such things as ballet, horseback riding, singing, play an instrument et al. (Don't forget to describe something you need to have been there, either in reality or in your dreams)>
I really admire you for doing this ~~~ for following your thoughts with effort.

i think it actualy sounds good id pay to see this. the only fil its kinda is related to is the movie down to earth with chris rock who tries to be a good comedian but isnt tht good and gets in a car accident and dies and he has like a couple of days to pick which body he wants but the body has to be dead and no one can know bout it and in the in the end his memery gets erased and he goes in somone elses body and becomes a good comedian

I think it would be best that you delete this and not share it over the net. I haven't read it, but if its good, you don't want someone taking your idea. Share it with close friends and relatives. Or give us a VERY brief summary and not the details. My friend makes movies too. Good luck with it!!

I like it, but the janitors name is kinda weird. Other than that I think it's great.
