Yes it is possible but sharing the same exact program is fraud protected by apple through an encryption. Simply have two different user accounts on the computer so say yours and then have a user name that is your dad it should bypass the fraud encryption I would further seek help from apple.com and their support for more detailed information.

If you guys have your own file either on Windows or Apple, you should be able to use two iPods on the same computer. I have an iPod Video, my daughter (12) has an iPod Mini, my other daughter (11) has an iPod Nano, and my youngest (7) has an iPod Shuffle. We all use it on the same computer but we have different files. It is possible because we all have different music.

me and my sister use the same computer and same itunes library for our iPods. the only thing you can't do if you want two seperate iPods on one computer you cant have the auto sync on in itunes. just enable manual settings then click and drag only the songs YOU want on your iPod. that way you dont have to resync your iPod everytime you hook it up.

yes you can. you shouldn't sync 2 though. if you have to, then don't sync either one, unless you like the same kind of music. my sister's ipod isn't synced because it won't hold the 2GB of music i have on my video, much less the 17GB of video i have on it.
