Couldn't they start their own club without assistance?
Just wondering, I know I will hear the typical racist, yada yada answers.

This is a good question but thinking about it, is it important anyways that it should have been a black person? what difference does it make in your own views that a white person was needed to create the NAACP?

William E Dubois was one of the founders of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) in 1909! He earned a masters from Harvard.
The NAACP was founded to advance the rights of blacks, and if you know anything about 1908 to 1964 you would know why it was founded by a white.
I think you know all this and you are hoping a few will take it some other way than it really happened.
Dubois wanted to help them get some of the rights they should have always had under the US Constitution!

Because most of the blacks were on the Democrat Plantation.
The NAACP has now joined with the Democrats to make sure the blacks & poor whites stay on the Democrat Plantation.
The NAACP has sold out, just like our Labor Unions, to the Democrats.
