When you are born...you are considered to be an empty slate....just pure. You are not bias or opinionated. Of course GOD created you. But it would have been to simple for GOD to have installed intelligence. Now you do have the capacity for intelligence. This is why we are the supreme beings. This is why we rule the planet. But it would be unfair and sort of selfish to install intelligence from birth. Everyone would be the same. There would be no uniqueness amongst anyone. It would be very boring.
Intelligence has to be created whether it is the lack of or you have it.
Just think about racism and prejudice. This is taught.
If at birth you were born a girl. But you were isolated from society and were told you were a BOY. Due to you lack of intelligence you would be forced to believe it because you do not know any thing. So after many years you were released and found out you were indeed a girl. This shows the creation of intelligence.
Do not take intelligence for granted. Some perfect it; others just roll with the bunches.
I chose to continue perfecting my intelligence. It makes you a more interesting person.

Because it would be to much for are brains to take in at a time when they should be developing, We are supposed to learn things, because we need to make our own opinions, If you were born intelligent then you wouldn't have any room for improvement. Some babys are born very intelligent, they can name all the presidents when they are only a coulple months old, but not all of us are meant to have that gift. How would you like to be a 5 year old and know that you dad was had about a 10% chance of coming home from the war? Ignorace is Bliss? I think so.

Intelligence is genetic. You are born with intellect. We cannot create it. You can develop it, that is all. If you give an IQ test to a ten year old the results will be the same when the person is forty.

This is true barring disease or accident.

You can learn things but that is not the same as intelligence. There are people with very high intelligence but are all but totally ignorant.
.

We tend to say someone is smart implying they know a lot, not so. They are smart but may know almost nothing.

Depends how you define intelligence.
If you define it as the potential to absorb and apply knowledge, then indeed we are born intelligent. If you define intelligence as accumulated knowledge, then we are blank slates when we are born and need to accumulate knowledge. There are differences in natural aptitude, however, that imply that people are in fact born intelligent, and often people who learn the same facts may apply and think about them in different ways.

I think that everyone is smarter when they're babies than they are now. I believe we lose our intelligence as our life goes on and we are slowly swayed from the truth. And while we don't necessarily create intelligence, I think we try to gain back what we've lost over the years. Ciao!!!!

Good question..Created intellect leads world to collapse, and in local sense makes us mortal, for it creates rigid beliefs. It has two sides...Intelligence does not have a dual structure and it is already created, only needs to be triggered. Faith is requirement, not a belief.

Because if EVERYBODY was intellegent, what would be so important about it? It would be like blinking or breathing; a talent everyone has, so it isn't special. So therefore, intellegence and logic have to be learned, so those who are willing to put in the effort gain the gift of intellegence, and those who don't even try get what they put into it...nothing.
