I'm 27 and a former ballerina. I am very active and eat very healthy. I read once that its actually easier to conceive if you had a little body fat. My periods are regular at this point in my life and I have huge natural breasts, but I have very little body fat. I dont think I'm too skinny, but dont trust myself. You can see my hip bones and a little ribs from the back, but I'm very strong.

If you are fertile and still have normal period then you can be pregnant. The weight is not important, it will add up during the pregnancy. Look at those "too skinny" models/celebrities that have their perfectly healthy babies and ready to show their ribs for the bikini show less than a year after giving birth.
One of friend is very skinny and when she was 9 month pregnant she only weight 120lbs (she's 5'10"), she only gain 15lbs during the pregnancy, I have pic of her wearing bikini, showing big 9 month pregnant belly, yet I can still see the poking hip bones and count her ribs.
She had a very healthy boy anyway.

I've also read that it is easier to conceive a baby with some fat on the body. Not alot - but maybe you could just add a little more fat into your diet. Good Luck.

A little body fat is ok. Too much is a problem conceiving, carrying and is a risk to the baby. If you think you're too skinny, ask your gyno. If you're trying to conceive, you should already have a gyno.

My sons' girlfriend only weighs 86 lbs, and she just had her 3rd baby in Sept., a very healthy boy! She has always been small and has not had a problem conceiving and carrying the babies to term. And she is back in her 00 size clothes by 2 weeks after...what a *&#@"!!! ;)

hmmmm I am not sure about that being true. I was a whole 97 lbs when I got pregnant with my first child. so I must say that I had no problems getting pregnant. good luck to you.
