Medical Insurance Coding/Billing Specialist?

I am in the process of becoming certified thru a hands on college for this position. What would be the ultimate position for employment to search for with a certification such as this? I've been told to search for employment within a specialty rather than a hospital setting..???

There are really too many possibilities to offer an answer. It just depends on your personal preferences. Perhaps you should just apply for whatever jobs are available and get some experience first.
