Are we going to see a day when this organization ceases to exist? They certainly are trying to maintain relevance here.

If the "Dukes of Hazzard" is so offensive, why didn't they whine about it 25 years ago, when the show first came on?

They aren't exactly the brightest colored people around

Why did I get thumb down? Because I called them "colored"? Do you even know what NAACP stands for?

I haven't heard about this. My kids love the reruns of this show. And my brothers and I grew up on it. I DO hate the fact that the General Lee has a big rebel flag on it. I don't condone the use of a rebel flag simply because I feel that it stands for hatred in so many ways.

I live in the south and we see rebel flags frequently. However, I teach my 3 kids that we should be proud of the AMERICAN flag that flies now. Not a flag that flew when there were so many people that were mistreated and had no freedom in our land.

maybe..i would be upset also programs like the dukes of hazard show the south in its true form. it displays the intellgence of southern elected officials and law inforcement like no other truth on television. the southern values it portrays like fast cars and girls with their bunns hanging out of the bottom of their pants shows southern women in the best possible light.

NAACP has a purpose, and it works.

The confederate flag is offensive to many people.
