Will there be a voltage across the wings?

Thanks!

Well, actually that wasnt a question, if there would be a voltage across the wings. I know there will be a small, but measurable voltage.
The only question was, if it made a difference if u fly to America or Africa?

The only thing that will happen is the magnetic compass will change direction. It will not effect the flight. The magnetic compass changes (it does not point to true north, but to magnetic north) constantly as you fly anyway. Motion causes errors.

It would take a massive magnetic field to generate significant electricity and that simply does not happen in nature.

So take a magnet on your next flight and have fun. :)

I did this. My silverware flew to the ceiling and stuck there during my sumptuous First Class in flight meal. My Rolex did the same. Luckily my heavy gold jewelery remained with my corpulent well-fed carcass......
