yeah it's me again...

I'm interested in painting my Element because I'm tired of it looking like every 10th car I see on the road. Have you seen anyone paint an Element and paint the plastic panels too? I would want it all one color (the gun metal or charcoal color), but how does it look if you paint the plastic too? Anyone have pics?

Thanks in advance...

If you want to see what one looks like, go to your local Honda dealer and look at the 2007 Element LX with the monotone finish. Honda made the one-color exterior available as an option on the Element in 2007 but only on the LX model. there should be a picture of that vehicle on www.honda.com
Dealers have been selling aftermarket refinishing on the Elements since they came out. I believe that the vehicle looks better in one color.

The engineering genius of the Honda Elephant is those plastic fenders. If you get into an accident, they are easy to replace and easy to find at a salvage yard. They require no painting!

Hence, any Elephant's fenders will be interchangeable with one of a different body color.

Don't ruin a good thing and paint them. New Elephants are doing away with the plastic fenders. Dumb move by Honda.
