Sorry... I haven't heard about Congress being dissolved, as of yet, or the banning of the Democrats. I think you're just venting hate.

You must not be very smart if you can possibly consider this a dictatorship!! Don't you realize how good you have it, even if all the horrible things you say about our president were true? If this were truly a dictatorship, as I will point out, Saddam's rule in Iraq was, then you would probably be shot or hanged for speaking against your leader. You would not have the freedom to complain about the man who is leading your country. You would do what you are told, no if's and's or but's about it, unless you want them to come rape your wife in front of your very eyes. Don't you see what a contradiction your question in itself is? If you see this as a dictatorship, and feel violated by that, then why can't you see that Iraq was under a TRUE dictator and that the people needed rescuing? Doesn't EVERYBODY deserve to be free, Iraqi's included?
Oh, and by the way, it hasn't even been 4 years since Bush was elected by the MAJORITY of the people for his second term in office AFTER the war on terror was declared. I really doubt things have changed much since then, but even so, if he were TRULY so terrible, he could be removed from office, but it seems that he must not be or he would have been, huh? And, Bush isn't the only one running the show here, there is such a thing as CONGRESS. Lastly, the thing that indicates that we are not under a dictatorship, is that a dictator is in control as long as he can hold power, and Bush will be out of office no matter what in 2009. So stop your whining. It's only a couple more years, and I'm really curious to see if America will truly vote in a better replacement.

Tell you what - and I swear, I'm not being factitious at all. I'll give you the money to go to Venezuela for a few months. Try posting this kind of BS about Hugo. If we can find enough pieces of you, I'll even bring what's left of you back for burial.
Bush is FAR from perfect, but the very fact that you don't realize how damned fortunate you are, to live in a country where you have the freedom to sit behind a keyboard and talk smack, shows me that you're not very appreciative of your freedoms. Try living under a REAL dictator.
This kind of crap does nothing to further any discussion or solve any problems. If you really feel so strongly about it, why are you sitting on YA? You should be out protesting. Writing letters to EVERYONE in DC. But then again, your type is all flash and no substance.

No, actually the far left are the ones who want a form of dictatorship if you examine all they have done to silence anyone who speaks out against them and all of the laws they want to make that get shot down and the big government they want to install. With their elitist attitude of knowing what is best for us, and banning anything they don't agree with, as in severe gun control, wanting to ban home schooling, and the list goes on. They hate true free speech and true freedom of the press. They hate the Constitution and try to subvert it when it doesn't suit their agenda. If the vote of the people doesn't go their way, they go shopping for a liberal activist judge to undo the vote of the people. Bush hasn't come close to being this way. Go fix your own faults before you go trying to point the finger at a lesser problem. Or as Jesus said, take the beam out of your own eye, before you try to take the splinter out of your brother's eye.

If it were a dictatorship, then why would the Dem's be gearing up for a constitutional fight over executive privilege? Saddam was a dictator. Did he deal with problems like this from the opposition party? How about Hitler? Stalin?
Mmmm...nice try, but you may want to review your definition.
