I suffer from anxiety disorder, social anxiety, etc. Most recently I was told by a Vocational Rehab that my condition was too much for their program. I have been in therapy and meds for over 15 years, I just can not seems to keep a job because of my anxiety. What kind of job can I do? I have tried just about everything from warehouse labor, night shift stocking, news paper delivery, huge corporate, small private company, restaurant, part time, etc. I have not worked consistently for so long, I am not qualified for SSC benefit. Also bad resume, no one want to hire me even I am a college Graduate, B.S. Degree. I would like to work in a healthy stress free environment, working on my own schedule, with any pressure, work around good kind loving people. Volunteer is OK, but I need to pay my bills. Need help.

im afraid theres no easy answer to your dilemma. i totally understand your problem, i have a family member with the same thing. have you ever checked in your area for an anxiety program??? they work with you to help you learn relaxation and coping statements.....the kind of work you are looking for doesnt exist-stress free? you have to realize nothing in life is stress free, you just need to learn how to control it so you can function. also realize social anxiety is a lifelong issue, its like riding a rollercoaster....some day, months or years might be better than others.

Try computer programming or try writing or many other occupations you don't need to leave your house for or socialize that much, don't you remember the movie "As Good As IT GETS " Jack Nicholson had the same issues.

My hotel isn't to busy, obviously I have time to sit here and answer questions all night.

It pays decent and there is plenty of room for advancment.
