2+2 = 4 , however if you ask certain people they may say 7 or fish ( a four letter word that usually has four fins) But really the answer is just 4

If you are talking about base 10, the answer is 4.
If you are talking about base 3, the answer is 11. (Note that this is not "eleven," which only makes sense in base 10, but "one one.")
