A thought is thinking of something to do. I think my thoughts are like most people's--Scatterbrained. We go from one thought to the next, and a lot of times the higher and more priorized thoughts get replaced by more docile and easeful thoughts.
I think most of my thoughts are fairly normal, especially after reading some of the questions on here. They evolve from stimuli from my environment conducive to my well-being. Eventually they feed on freedom and survival.

Logical, creative thoughts occur in our frontal lobes, the brain's thinking district. Memory occurs (don't quote me on this) somewhere, I would say, in the top middle of both sides of our brains. The rest of the brain maintains breathing, heart beat and other necessary life functions.
The Bible says all thoughts originate from the Lord. I believe thoughts are part of the soul, but as people with severe brain injury have shown they are not only a part of the soul.
I believe seeing thoughts may have something to do with memory. If we can imagine a car, for instance, our brains reference our memories to compile the type of car we want to envision based upon all of the cars we have seen in our lives. Just like a computer, our brains can envision fantasy things too by compiling a picture out of pieces of objects in our memory with which we are familiar.
Right now I am envisioning a miniature elephant who is wearing a pork-pie hat, smoking a cigar and reading the newspaper.

thoughts are just like a little diary for your brain. i see my thoughts as like a story(a lil weird) all they are is just something to help you think things through or do something. some come from the conscience of your mind(or the top of your head.) they go back to the place from which they came. sometimes yes. when you speak you thoughts.

A thought can be anything, it's me typing write now. Or someone relaying an opinion. It's the voice that narrates your life inside you.

It is an expeltion of a form related to energy, rather than mass. All body energy is chemo-electric, and a thought can travel time and space, and also be recorded by sender and receiver.

they're chains of chemical reactions in response to external or internal stimuli. though in terms of being a thinking creature, I have to assume that thoughts are more than just that.
