It's an anime series or Japanese animation consists of 26 episodes and you can find it via the internet. It's about a high girl who has lost her parents and two other guys named Kyo and Yuki. I don't think it's like InuYasha other than they both have romance in them. The themes are fairly different from each other. Kurama is not from InuYasha is he? Sorry I don't know.

It's a manga that was turned into an anime show. I've only seen the anime, so I'm not sure how the manga goes. Tohru Honda is a girl in high school and becomes orphaned when her mother is killed in a car accident. She winds up living in a tent out in the woods, and after she sees the house of the Sohma's, Yuki and his cousin Shigure. Yuki happens to be the most popular guy at Tohru's school, go figure... lol
Anywho, as the anime goes on, Tohru finds out about the Sohma family curse, which she must keep a secret. The whole series deals with Tohru's life living with Yuki and Shigure as their housekeeper [two guys living alone can get quite messy], and the ties to the Chinese Zodiac.
You can find it at any store that carries Anime movies and TV series collections. Best Buy should carry it, and I've also seen it at FYE.. Not sure of any other place. I like Inuyasha, and I liked Fruits Basket [hell I went for 8 hours watching it, non-stop]. But it's not like Inuyasha, but then again I don't know what you mean by is it like Inuyasha.

Fruit basket is an anime about a girl with dead parents who lives at a house with weird men that turn into animals. It is not like Inuyasha at all, it is boring. Kurama is a guy with red hair from Yu Yu Hakusho who slaps people with a rose whip. If you want, send me like a dollar to cover shipping and handeling and I will send you a sample of fruit basket I have (promotional dvd). One or two episodes can't remember, comes with commentary from some of the voice actors of dragonball z.

Fruits Basket is about a girl named Tohru Honda. Due to certain circumstances, like her mom's death, she's left with no place to live. She is taken in by some members of the mysterious Sohma family. While living with them she discovers their secret: the Sohma family is cursed.
I don't want to spoil it for you, so you'll have to read the manga to get the full story(the anime doesn't carry the story as far as the manga). It's not like Inuyasha, but it is one of my favorite manga series. You can find it at www.nemuidesu.co.nr
