what size needle gauge do i use to peirce my toung??

Is this sanitary? How often do people take these out and disinfect them? I wouldn't do it if I were you !!!

I wouldn't do it yourself, all kinds of germs could be on that needle. There are many places who will do it for you with a safe, sterile needle.

the standard size for tongue rings is 14g

...You shouldn't peirce it yourself... That's really dangerous.... but my barbell is 14gage... so I'm guessing about that size.

14g? get it done professionally that way you wont get an infection as easy.
