Well he is about to turn 41 years old, which as you well know is a pretty old age to still be playing. hes got almost 3200 strikeouts and hes got 333 wins, he's not playing for any milestones he's playing because he loves the game, and he can still have success.
I wouldn't put him on my fantasy team, but I still think we will be good for 8-10 wins this season for the Padres.
To answer your question 2 years at best, if he doesn't feel up to par this will be his last go round.

I think that Greg Maddux will keep pitching as long as he feels health and competitive. I agree that he is not in it for the records. So I think it will be a year to year choice on his part but I think a year or two will be tops.

Two years with the Padres: or however long it takes for Glavine to get to 300. I`m sure they would like to go in to Cooperstown together. they`ll both get in even though chicks dig the long ball!

He has a 2 year contract with San Diego so he will probably finish his career in two years.

defiantly retire after this season because he should of just retired with a good slate in his last season of his career. Now he is with the padres and going to decline into retirement.

He's old but he's not bad.I'm going to guess he will play maybe 1 more year after this then thats it.He's not playing to records,I think he wants one more title under his belt.
